This is actually quite a good idea since you either hold your phone in the center, or closer to the bottom (IMO).

Swapping the navigation keys around, to have "back" on the left side and the task switcher on the Bixby key, should allow for a lot easier one-hand use, while keeping full screen active.

No man, that back button is in the wrong place!!! back should left, recent should be right. the bixby key is NOT conveniently placed for one handed use.

Ugly? They are as minimalistic as you are ever going to get. Yes they won't protect a bunny from a carrot, but that's not why we like it.

What case and screen protector do you have?
Using a flipcover as I couldn't get a good screen guard that will work with a back cover, will go check the tech21 and then get a nice back cover.

Don't think any case will work with the dex, checked some YouTube videos and even the slimmest case they could get didn't work.

Yeah don't think the thick ones will work. I am using the case that Sammy gave us with the note and it works with Dex, but think that might be the thickest you can go.

Is anyone remapping their Bixby key, or actually using Bixby?

I have never used any voice assistent much in the past, but actually finding Bixby very useful, especially when driving or looking for a specific setting, or setting an alarm or reminder quickly. So for now getting more and more used to it and it kinda just works. Which is more than i can say for most other i have tried in the past.

I just forget it is there most of the time only after fiddling for a bit i remember and tell it and it does what i wanted instantly, so i am liking it.

I have ended up remapping it. I did want to like it, however Google assistant is better for my needs.

I don't like Voice Assistants at all.

I always loved how Google Now just gave you suggestions quietly.

Though, I do get it for driving it will be useful, maybe I'll give it a go, but this thing of talking to a machine is just weird to me, lol.

Guys, seems we may be getting closer to getting our U Flex headphones.

Status changed, to just Processing, not the Courier Processing it was before:

Is there any way to change the stupid clock on the lock screen? (Not the Always on Display). I'm not sure if it has been asked here before. Didn't read the whole thread yet

Originally it was supposed to end on the 9th of October.

I see there is still a "note 8" campaign, and the dates vary between locations http://www.samsung.com/za/offer/switch-to-galaxy-note8-campaign/
Very interesting, at Clearwater it ends on 22 Oct.

They must have a huge stockpile of DeX Stations just sitting.

They should extend this promotion to S8 and S8+ users and advertise it on TV, OR give all buyers of the Note8 a free DeX at the point of purchase of the DeX. E.g. you get your Note8 at Vodashop Fourways and you get your DeX+Keyboard same time.

Well it assumes that this is still the DeX promo. I also checked to see if it was maybe archived, and it wasn't.

Clearwater wasn't there originally. The only two JHB malls was Sandton and Eastgate
