Yeah was expecting this, think i will wait a few more months then, might be 799 or something like that come December.

For me they really blew it with the pre order gifts this time. T-Mobile is offering a fast wireless charger and a 256GB Sd card with their pre orders in the states, or you can even change that for a 360 camera. Same type of deals in the UK and i think Korea has even more options. That would have made me jump on the pre order wagon and justify the higher launch price, but anyway. Still looking forward to getting it eventually.

I would advise you to pre order
through a Voda shop. Better for peace of mind.
Then only with certain "big" stores. Better if you have a regular "go to" sales person you trust.
I was told that i can collect Friday 17 th.
Also something was mentioned to me, that lowest package was alo R849.
 
Also don't know if you read this on Samsung

When i spoke to the owner of Vodacom Shop( franchise) , he quoted
something like that, yes.
Also his salesperson repeated the figure.
I wasn't really paying attention /interested
in price plans.

Cool, makes sense. I hope they call me again tomorrow, if they don't I will not cancell MTN.

Part of me wants those U Flex headphones.

If you go MTN contact me, I won't be using the U Flex headphones on my Vodacom deal.

Forgot to mention, my other "go to" salesperson from another Vodacom shop also gave me that figure, as lowest package.
So i have 2 options.

Haha! Nice, yep, MTN told me the same, R849 lowest package, the next package is like R879 after that.

I'll be using my curren Vodacom sim in it anyway, the new sim will go into the S7E as a 2nd number, so went with the lowest.

Just received my call from Vodacom. Cheapest package is R849. They will call me again to let me know if my request have been approved.

Edit: Got my second call and it's approved. Will get another call to confirm delivery address and delivery date.

I'm due for handset upgrade with Vodacom on 1 Oct. Just deliberating as to whether to stick with Vodacom, or jump to Cell C with better priced options on data etc!

Cell C don't have any info as yet on their package pricing. They said only once the handsets arrive do they advise the pricing. I'm on their pre-order waiting list so let's see when they call!

I called Vodacom this morning and they said they haven't received the device as yet, and they should get it around the 20th. Like WTF!!

Vodacom is pissing me off
