Galaxy Note 8

Lets talk covers.

I know the Note8 comes with one but I'm thinking of ordering some clear Spigen covers from Amazon.

The alcantara Samsung cover also looks nice.
 
well after cellucity peeved me off for the last time to get a nokia 8 i decided to let the nokia 8 idea go.

going to buy a note 8 now, does anybody know if the samsung shops will give something extra with the pre order phone? i have to decide. direct from samsung or from takealot who throws in a dex also for you. dont want network operator cancer on my phone so voda and the rest is a negatory
 
I wonder what the cash price for Dex would be? A wireless charger would probably be more usefull to me. Definitely have to get me one of those.

You can always flash a different firmware, and vodacom's bloat is hardly the big issue people make it out to be.

Well an hour after my post i got a call from Vodacom, they approved my pre-order said I should get it next week sometime. I really wanted it on the 15th, asked if i could pick it up, but they only do deliveries for online pre-orders.
 
I got a call yesterday from a Vodacom shop where I left my name. It'll be R849 on Top up R200. The guy then asked me for my id Number so he could do the paperwork so long. Then he'd give me a call tomorrow when I can collect. The Vodacom shops have stock for pre orders only. Vodacom online said I'd have it by Monday if I went with them. I cancelled the pre order as I have decided I won't be getting it.
 
Vodacom Grove Nelspruit just now confirmed my note 8 in orchid grey. Collecting at 14:30. :)

Yes. It's at shop. I'm investigating a veld fire and can only get to shop in afternoon.
 
Was secretly hoping Takealot would release pre-orders tomorrow. But guess they sticking to the 22nd. The wait is killing me!
 
So Vodacom is basically saying to me,
i will be getting +- R2600 extra worth of goodies with my Note 8
The AKG earphones value R1299 ( already have a set of AKG with S8+)
and then Level U flex earphones value R1299
total value ... R2600
Not really impressed ,but yes i will take it .

what aren't you impressed about? i'm confused. the akg headphones is in the box, and EVERYONE will be getting them. the U flex is an extra that vodacom is offering to the value of 1299

The new Note 8 Gear Vr would be nice.
Apparently the S8+ Gear vr fits a bit tight.
Easy to damage something (c port) So Samsung made a Vr for Note 8.
Also one of those new wireless chargers. Not the old stock Vodacom /Samsung gave us with S8.
