Galaxy Note 8

Good idea. But I must be honest there is nothing wrong with my Note 3. Just need to replace the battery though. It is that yearly itch when the new ones come out.

Can you still get new Note 5 and is it that much of an upgrade on Note 3?
From Note 3 to Note 5 is huge
From Note 5 to Note 8 is huuuuge

From Note 3 to Note 8. HUUUUUUGE

Funny, my Note3, 4 years old, original battery still lasts for days. My two year old Note 4 battery lasts five minutes. I hope this 8 is more like the 3 in this aspect.

I wonder who Samsung used as a Battery supplier for the Note 4, as those batteries definitely did not age very well.

Even my old Galaxy S2 from 2011 has its original battery that to lasts about a day unless I use it very heavily.

Cant live without my Note!!!! Best phone I ever bought in terms of daily use. I have learned myself to use the Note 3 coming from a S2. Note 8 is not as wide but slightly taller if I remember correctly.
JK1 you could use a Tech21 screen cover that sits on the curved screen properly and does not lift like the tempered glass ones

Thanks but still thinking about it. Was more interested to know if Note 8 users have a choice how many would choose the curve screen and how many not.

Well I love the note just the way it is. Its perfect. Less curve than s8 plus. Samsung wont go back to note 3 type devices anytime some. It's a case of adjust or move onto a device that better suits your needs

I like the Curved Screens, they have helped keep these phones usable despite huge displays and design wise really looks great, when swiping horizontally the content looks like it's spilling off the edge

Yeah, I love the curved screen. I personally always want more screen real estate, not less.
Nope I only want a Note so I suppose I will have to adapt. Thanks for the comments.

I learnt the hard way by going from a Note 4 to a S7 Edge when the went Note7 went up in flamed, that Note is the only

Never going back to S Range.

I went Galaxy S (i9000)
Then Note (1), Note 3, Note 4 (didn't want a 5 and the 7 was on fire), Note 8. Also with Note 10.1 and 10.1 2014 (which I'm still using daily)

I'm not even going to start making a list of phones I've used over the past 24 years.

Just to give an idea.

5 contracts
Upgrade every 20 months (sometimes earlier).
Most of the time selling and buying something else because I get tired of the current phone.

Let's say minimum 2 phones per contract.

That's roughly 144 phones.

Maximum 4 phones per contract.

288 phones

So on average I might have had in the region of 216 phones. LOL
