So today I was cleaning my phone and noticed a small chip on the screen glass at the top of the phone where the glass meets the metal border.
It looks like a manufacturing fault as I have never dropped the phone or anything and has been in a case since day 1.
It is hardly noticeable but still annoying considering the price we pay for the device.
Do you think they will exchange the device? Or is my OCD getting the best of me?
If you put up a big enough tantrum... maybe.
Samsung is notoriously difficult when it comes to warranty claims.
We do in warranty repairs on Samsung devices and the amount of red tape is ludicrous.
Any chip / crack / scratch / drop mark can be seen as physical damage and immediately voids your warranty.
It's going to be difficult to convince Samsung that a chip in a display was a factory fault.
