Galaxy S3 now at FNB!

I received the call from the courier about 3 days after ordering. I was a bit shocked because after I placed my order i received an sms stating that due to high demand there was limited stock and to expect delays in delivery. So i was really surprised when I got the call.

My problem now will be that I want to continue to use my existing contract but will have to get a microsim, anyone know how to do that, I want to keep my present number and contract (Talk 130 plus).

If you read through the S3 thread under cellure phones / android they give templets and advice there how to diy it.

Also you can ask your provider to do a sim swap for you to a micro sim, this will cost you money, not sure how much
 
Like the FNB deal, but have used mine for an IPad already ;)

But seriously, what happened to all the hot deals Vodacom offered in the past?. I currently have 2 contracts where I pay so little for the devices.

I have some top up, not sure which one. I get R285 airtime a month, 150mb data and I pay R385 a month. Keep in mind, I received an iPhone 4 32Gb with it almost 2 years ago.

About 5-6 months ago I got another contract. Shelf contract. Some talk bla bla. R199 a month and received an iPhone 4s 16GB with it.

So, for my iPhone 4 32Gb I paid R2400 and for the 4S R4800 :D
And by the looks of it, I am able to upgrade my top up in August and can get the S3 with a pay-in of R1200 ;)
 
BTW.

If you want to pay the phone off from FNB before the 24 months are past. The retail price they work on for the phone is R7999.
So you will have to pay in the remaining amount.
 
I've just received mine. Now to cut up normal sim card at home tonight then it's on!
