Hi

price aside these are two of the hottest phones of the moment.

So, price aside which would u choose and why?

Both are awesome, but if price [Edit]and build quality[/Edit] isn't an issue, get the Galaxy S.

Galaxy S has Android, I wouldn't touch Samsung's locked-down OS they have on the Wave. If you can spare the extra money go for the Galaxy S. The bigger screen is great too.

I have the Galaxy S, love it. Some friends of mine have the Wave and are very happy with it though.

Interesting comments so far - i actually have gone for the galaxy, but want to know if i should be disappointed about not going for the wave... :)

Both more or less the same, galaxy with android might be better for some.Wave has better build quality,me personaly dont realy mind which OS phones use.
More importanly is the way the phone works and feels, and here the wave for me is awesome.

I agree with Rico

The use, feel and speed of the Wave is simply outstanding!
It has a tactile quality which I like.

The BADA OS is solid with it being a new-born and all.
I dare to say it is by far better than what Android or the iPhone Os was at the same stage.

Constant updates and available apps almost everyday with a solid performance from all apps now at the moment.
I am really happy with the Wave.

The gaming is rather impressive.
3D hack and slash in KROLL is well done with some nifty little Action sequences ala God of war for boss battles.
No delay or any hitches.

ARDefender is probably one of the most inovative I have seen in a long time!

For a brand new OS, it certainly is giving as good as it gets.
For all we know this could surpass Android and/ir iPhone rather soon.

Get Need for speed Spam,if they have some free downloads left.
Also the Bruce Lee story is very nice, reminds me of Tekken.

Galaxy has a bigger screen, that's what swung me in the end.

How does the photo's on the Galaxy S compare to the Wave. As the Galaxy S does not have a flash I cannot see how its photos will be any good if there is no light source.

Never seen the wave before, only pics and videos on the internet.
I'm not aware of a cell phone with a decent flash.

The sun is a good source of light. ;)

with respect, but even a single LED falsh is better than no flash at all? let alone new phones with dual LED and xenon. the fact that the SGS doesnt have a flash should not make it less of a phone cos it is the best phone in the world, currently, but realistically, it wont take decent pics in the dark.

I haven't needed to use a flash on any cell phone yet.
If that's important to you, then you should get a phone with one.

The only use for a LED flash is as a torch. It's rubbish for photos.
Galaxy S has a night mode which takes decent low-light photos.

At least for me, it's a tiny issue that's not worth caring about. I sure as hell wont settle for that Bada OS just so I can use my phone as a weak torch.
