I hate those, you also get them for PS2.

Problem is they just as good as Composite cables :(
For me it was worth spending the R1K to get proper 480P

the ps2 one might be really handy for me, if i remember correctly, the ps1 and 2 use same display cable? pity the wii one is that pricey, would of liked to have one

Slowly been building my collection up again - I buy lots of old retro stuff on eBay and repair it.

In my collection:
ZX81
ZX Spectrum 16k, 48k, 128k, 128+
Commodore +4, C64, C64C, C16, C116, VIC-20, Amiga 500 with 1541 floppy drive
BBC Micro
Acorn Atom
PSX, PS2,3,4,5 (5 still in packaging, waiting for the day when its jailbroken)
Xbox Original, 360, One
Nintendo DS, Wii, Game & Watch
Apple IIe (Most recent buy - busy repairing)

Also have a pile of interfaces to connect them to LCD's (OSSC, RGB2HDMI, RetroTink 2X)

Never had a PS1 so cant say.

I think my problem is more with the crappy upscaler they use. The EasyCel is not perfect but does a waaaay better job.

One day when I am grown up I'll for out for something like a OSSC. All reports I have seen claim them to do a way better job.

Seeing that you have both OSSC and RetroTink which you think is better for PS2?

ill put it on my bday wishlist lol

OSSC is expensive but worth every cent. I've only seen a few things that don't like going via it and for those I use RGB2HDMI.

For just getting it going with an ok picture I'd go for retrotink. Easy to setup and running within minutes.

For absolute perfect picture quality go for the OSSC. It's a dog to setup though and requires lots of fiddling but once configured it's pretty easy to use.

life dude, you sell the goods off? my hustle goal this year will be to get a Switch again, i miss it!

wish i could display my consoles but kids are kids, i keep it all safely packed away.... but yes, played some wii over the weekend, my retinas couldnt handle how kak it looked, but is what it is, my goal was to learn to mod it, mod complete, back in its box and into storage

Yeah, I sold the systems and their games. My switch is still around for the Nintendo exclusives like Mario and Zelda. Luckily I had a component cable for my Wii which helped a lot, so much crisper than the composite cable, but that's one of the reasons I kept the WiiU, since it has HDMI it made my life a little easier and the Wii games look great for their age.(I modded the vWii on the WiiU, so running USB Loader GX again).

ZX Spectrum 16k, 48k, 128k, 128+

My first coding experience was on a 48k :giggle:. Ah the rubber chiclet keys.

Those rubber keys are the bomb. The amount of speccys I've repaired with failing rubber keyboards is scary. But at least the membrane keyboards are still available. Someone started producing them again.

I first started on the Plus4 - spend days typing in code from the Your Computer magazines :)

Still have a ZX Spectrum.

also got USBLoaderGX, struggled for the longest time with roms, just to find out it was a USB compatibility issue, some cheap ass random 4gig worked tho, once i figured that out i was a happy wii boi
EDIT: operation get another switch is 100% in the pipeline!

tried Rufus, no go, im not sure if the SAndisk i was using was 3.0 or 2.0 (if thats a issue, its kinda new) but from compatibility lists, most sandisk = trouble

i used a 64gig, tried formatting 101 times in 101 ways, sweet nothing, boots the homebrews fine, but games, not a damn

What @AlphaJohn said. I have a 1TB drive for the vWii and a 1TB drive for the WiiU, sadly they can't share a drive since the WiiU has it's own format. On a plus note, I can play all pre PS1 systems on the WiiU and it works really well.
What's kinda cool is that you can for example play some retro games on the TV via the WiiU, then pick up the game pad and continue somewhere else, as long as the gamepad signal holds up.
That being said, my gamepad battery is on it's way out, but I know there are mods to use a cellphone battery, will probably do that soon.

might just get a little external, they seems to have the most compatibility

You sure you dropped the cluster size cause that is where Sandisk f up. They use 8192 as default and that screws with my routers.

I forgot to mention I still have 2 x 3DS (one old model, one new model, both XL). Does anybody know where to get batteries? A quick google has failed me.
