Game developers consider DRM irrelevant

Even the theory behind DRM doesn't work. "We'll lock down the legal channels", but p2p piracy is all about illegal channels. The only people DRM restricts is those who are buying stuff legally anyway.

In fact, DRM encourages piracy in some instances. Because people don't want DRM in the software/movies/music that the legally buy, so they would rather buy an unprotected pirated version.

Cut out Ster-Kinekor as a middle-man and more games will be sold legally in SA. Ever since DRM hit the scene, I've bought less games and music. I listen to the radio instead and buy 2nd hand games or borrow.

10% didn't know if it was a problem at all? was he the guy who still builds games for golden china consoles?

Stop with DRM, make good games and support them well and people will look after you!

Also, drop pricing!

Do those 3 things and you'll never be a looser!
