Games for old PC?

Grim Fandango

Monkey Island 1,2,3 (The old versions)

Age of Empires 1 and maybe 2
Empire Earth 1
Quake 2
IGI 2

There is hundreds of good old titles.

Check the bargain bins at L&L,musica- a lot of great older titles available for < R100.

I remember when that hardware was the norm - there were some good games around which shouldnt be discarded today because of dated gfx.

Leisure Suit Larry
Space Quest
Kings Quest
-------------
Classics!!

srsly though, Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior :P

Maybe some Red Faction 1, he'll get hooked and wanna upgrade to play the second.
Some older Command and Conquers, Trackmania, Giants Citizen Kabuto, Diablo 2, Warcraft 3, Populous 3, Dungeon Keeper II etc.

Morrowind: The Elder Scrolls 3 is a really good older game. Should work fine on that system

Hi there Ronjay,

Tell your mate to go shopping at Incredible, CNA's and Game/Dion's. They generally sell a stack of those Gold Series Bests Seller games (LIke Diablo 2, SC, Splinter Cell)

All those games should work well with that kind of machine and those games are generally a dime a dozen and because they are gold series they are generally pretty good classics.

Happy gaming!
Arcturus

Starcraft. :D

The only game he'll ever need! okay thats a lie but its awesome... and when he upgrades the pc Starcraft 2

life does make sense!

commondos beyond the call of duty and behind enemy lines

California Games (LMAO)

Diablo
HoM&M

California Games used to be one of my favourites, among Sid Meiers Civilization, Street Rod I/II, F19 Stealth Fighter and Grand Prix Circuit.

Started up Space Quest I again not so long ago and couldn't find the keycard needed to open the door on the far right of the space-ship again :/

http://www.bestoldgames.net/ is a good place to find those old games.

Oh oh oh... you can also visit www.gog.com (good old games)
buy the game for like $6 each, they're all vista and xp compatible and they're legally cracked by the company so you can copy and recopy and not feel guilty 'bout piracy.

If you wanna know what kind of games... stuff like fallout 2 and MDK.

I saw all this in a magazine and have ran out of cap so I havent visited the site yet but im hoping they have earlier final fantasy titles... namely 7!

UFO Apocalypse should work just fine on it, and its a great game. Graphics can be better but you get used to it.
Starcraft, Warcraft 2 maybe even 3 should be fine.

Lots of these games have Platinum edition releases , so they should be somewhere in stock.

Nice link btw ReedOsama :)

Thanks guys for your help. Have just spoken to him and given your sugestions. Actualy a lot of the games that you have posted now I don't have and now I think I've missed out. Although I pulled out one of my old games and actually can't believe how things have changed compared to how things are now. And to think I used to rave about the graphical quality of some of those games. Thanks for also telling me were to get these. I usually buy games but never think to look for older games, there is always the game I really want and just bee line for it.
