Games like Commandos (series)

When I was younger this was so my game. I played for hour non stop

I am really looking for games with the same gameplay. But seems this type of game type died

Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines
Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty
Commandos 2: Men of Courage
Commandos 3: Destination Berlin

have a look at xcom:enemy unknown, it is turn based but its a great game! and reminded me of Commandos.

Fallout tactics, also a bit old, but great experience. My favourite.

Newer might be something like Jagged Allience or Krater.
XCOM, maybe,though turn base. Or Company of heroes.

The only other game I knew like commandos was Desperado's.

Loved the Commandos series myself. Another older one that I enjoyed that plays in a similar way (not sure if you've tried it) is Desperados:

I loved this one as well.

I saw that the studio that made commando's was looking at making a new game but could not get funding.

I bought the Commandos collection on special on Steam about a year ago, I got such as ass kicking on the first level I have no idea how I managed to complete the games a decade ago

Only other real time game I can think of was Shadow Company. I would however suggest you give Wasteland 2 a go. Its more turn based and RPG but good fun.

Mark of a ninja is a great game, but how does it compare with Commandos or the rest? There's no simularities...

xcom played it agree even tho it is a turnbase game its bloody close.. to commando's

Another similar game. It is turn based, looks like Jagged Alliance, but better graphics and destructible environment (not sure is JA has it).
