Destroying some random house/tower/hut/tree in a game, just because you feel like it, is a lot of fun

Gta is all about randomness isn't it. Takes the cake for me. But the Crysis guy is nuts with all that destroying 'trees', the final blast is MASSIVE though

The original Red Faction was better, there you could blow up the actual terrain, not just buildings. Could even dig tunnels.

I think the point was actually Red Faction in general really.

I liked the destruction in Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. Felt like a proper Hulk game.

Red Faction's destroyable terrain was awesome but unfortunately the game itself was way too short, the destruction eventually hit an indestructible wall and didn't really contribute to "shortcuts" to make the game less linear (which it is the very definition of).
