Gaming Laptop help

No offense but when dropping that kind of moolah on a laptop, the warranty should be your FIRST concern.

Asus is excellent but their after sales partners are the worst in the country TBH.
was going to use evetech, but then people said they don't honor onsite repairs and warranty so only other place to get this in Pietermaritzburg was from there

Today I am still waiting for the laptop to be delivered, never came on Friday or Saturday. Courier IT is terrible here in Durban where the issues are, the laptop has been in Durban since Thursday.

They are probably waiting for SAPS escort in Durban and all.

It is basically the same people as Incredible Connection. They have ZERO idea how to handle online market or logistics. I would not buy online without going to a walk in store.

The real issue is that it would of came on Friday, have no issues with everyshop but courier IT sent it to Athlone, Cape Town instead of Pietermaritzburg. When I phoned them they suddenly tried to fix it and got it sent to Durban which caused a few days delay. So everyshop is fine was the courier who made the mistake and was corrected.

my last laptop was from Incredible connection and has lasted me 8 years, no problems except for dust and heat now

Yes but you bought it from the walk-in-store, correct?

This is not about quality for the laptop, but service of a so called online store.
Yes exactly I've used their online store, but collected at their store not used their delivery as they always had stock locally.

That is the difference. I would do the same.

I have been searching now for a while for a Notebook for professional use, not gaming, budget 20-30K. But my focus is battery life, so there is a trade off to be made. Still searching though as stock is very limited, over priced or out of stock. So limited options.

ye it's very hard to find one at that price locally I wish you luck, the battery life isn't made to be off the battery for too long with gaming machines

As a former employee I can confirm this:ROFL:

Not for the gaming note books. I have tested the Lenovo Flex 5 with an MX330 (R20 000/22 000), battery life is awesome on medium use and the display is gorgeous. Perfect for basic editing with Camtasia and some modeling in Archicad / Revit. Easily gives you 2-4 hours and then on general use 6+ hours. But currently none in stock.

So I am looking if I can't find something with slightly better GPU and Ram at around 25-30K.

And then back to Everyshop, I would order from Amazon before I would trust someone like Everyshop.
