Gaming online in SA for a Noob.

Thanks guys. But now I'm royally confused:D Some say I must get this, others say this sucks get that instead. Now I don't know what I should do. I'll get my cash tomorrow so I was hoping to get the games tomorrow. So i need to make a decision and I don't want to pay for the wrong games that are going to have no one else playing them. Oh well.

Ok easy question, What games do you play at the moment and what do you currently like to play?

well dude you can't take just our words, (but seriously, the majority says mw2 sucks, and its R500!) look at reviews on gamespot, IGN, mygaming and metacritic

I play mostly action games. I have Assassins Creed, Batman Arkham Asylum, Tomb Raider. Also have Lord of the rings ROTK, Command and Conquer 3, Need for Speed Undercover Age of Empires 2 and other old games. Not a big collection but all pretty good games. Also had Brian lara cricket and fifa but was stolen.
 
I haven't stopped playing MW2 since I got it. Seriously, it's the digital version of crack.

Ooh let me guess. Tpex if I recall didn't like Tower Defense. How about another one of those in Age of Empires, huh Tpex? Me and you vs. Kaufies. :D

Tower defence was nice, and AOE2C is pointless for me because my game keeps crashing

Oh, well. Actually can't find the flipping disc now anyway, else would have said that I would play a game, but looked through my folder this morning and poof, no game. I'm the only one that ever looks in my cd folder and i can't remember ever taking it out of there so how the hell does it just disappear. It makes me so :mad: But actually the place is in such a mess so it could be any where so when I find it maybe look to play a game. You should see the state of my desk but I'll get stuck in today and clean up, look for the disk at the same time.:D

Actually though, haven't played much RTS in a long time. Some times they can get so drawn out, so more into the fast paced stuff now.
 
You mentioned C&C, you can play that online too.

You said no MMORPG's :( Comeon , play EVE :D
 
nobody cared to tell ronjay, that he only gets his local bandwidth after his 3 gigs are finished. He's gonna play a game like call of duty 4, and the next thing u know his international cap is all gone.

Ronjay, buy an afrihost 1 gig for R29, and set the 2 accounts up with a traffic splitter. Route sentry still works 100% for me, but there are others if u want to try.

Ah, ok good thing you are telling me these things. Thanx.

I know about the only getting the local after the international thing but not that one can split two accounts. So I'll definitely get an afrihost 1gig and do that. Only gonna get my games on Monday though. Got a couple of jobs to do today and one tomorrow so no time to go to he shops. What can I do, must bring home the bacon:D

So far I think I'm going to get only two games just to test out and see how things go. CoD4 and something else. The other money is going to go for a better gaming mouse so that I can really take some names:D
