Well dude phone them and get pricing, they have a 2400 for 1.4 ex vat
4 gb kingston ram for 200 ex vat
aerocool bex case for 650 ex vat
Good asus mobo for 700 ex
Some ridiculous pricing they got for one hour on sat.
Those prices you mentioned are their normal prices, i looked at the pricelist last night when I saw this thread. How much cheaper will the stuff be on Sat?
He will have to get a PSU from elsewhere though as they don't really stock any decent PSU units. Might have to shop around for a GPU as well but I did not look to closely into those.
Nimz, download the latest pricelist and see what you can make up.

No they got some really good ones, i saw a special the other day for well known brands i will check my email and see what i can find.
Antec truepower 699 for a 650 and boy let me tell you antec true power is insane, i had a 500w that ran a 9800gx2.
Antec true power 750w 849 ex
I have some meetings in pretoria tomorrow, gonna check if i get there for the one hour special. I want a new keyboard and mouse. Really want that razor tron mouse. 799 ex vat is expensive but boy it looks insane.

I forgot that they started doing Antec, just looked again and I don't see it on the 24Oct pricelist. Really great PSUs, I had one for many years but the eskom load shedding a while back killed it. Yeah, if he can get a Antec from them then he must go for it. Do they do the Antec chassis as well?

I have not looked at a rectron pricelist in years, they went down the tubes as far as i'm concerned. But ja i agree, it needs some work.

Okay guys I went to the happy hour Sale at Esquire an picked up 8GB Ram for R317
and an Aero Cool X-Warrior Case for - R340
Then went to PC ZOne and bought the Asus HD6870 GFX
Now i have to wait till Monday for my other components to arrive.
The HDD pricing is insane at the moment so im thinking of buying a 3.5 500GB iomega external from Incredible for R599 and taking it out the enclosure
and an Aero Cool X-Warrior Case for - R340
