Garmin Mobile XT HTC

Hey there,

Has anyone had any issues using garmin mobile on the htc touch diamond?

When i hold my phone out the window, I get a 8-satellite lock-on within seconds, I put the phone in my holder in the car and it drops out to 2 satellites...

help?

Where in your car is your holder mounted? On the front windscreen?

It shouldn't make a difference. I get great reception, even indoors with a Nokia. I think the HTC GPS chip/aerial must be low spec.

Well my Nokia N95 got perfect lock in the same position.... so yeah, maybe not such a woes gps...
