I should have said during loadshedding. Need that ignition startIs this a trick question?
The gas heats the water.
You don't need solar or electricity, other than for the ignitor....
Thats not enough power to get that fan to start and kept going during loadsheddingA gas heater with a D cell battery would suffice
Yeah, I feel the same man
The igniter is powered by D batteries in my gas geyser. There is no mains power to the gas geyser.I should have said during loadshedding. Need that ignition start
In the smaller gas geysers, I think under 18L, the ignitor is a battery. The igniter is powered by D batteries in my gas geyser. There is no mains power to the gas geyser.
Are you sure you have a Gas Geyser?Thats not enough power to get that fan to start and kept going during loadshedding
Rinnai infinity 20l. The installer said I need a min 1000w inverter with battery and my enquiry is all about people are using. Also what size battery would be best for this size of inverter? Are you sure you have a Gas Geyser?
yes its a forced air fed geyser ,very nice units ,have installed quite a few over the years , there is another thread from around early winter on the same question.probably a barrel fan maybe 100 watts , so a 1000 w inverter ,maybe 8 amps so a 50 amp battery say 3 hours of hot water .forgot , there are specific inverters for these types of units .Rinnai infinity 20l.
