Gas unavailability ?

I've been struggling to get gas for about a week now.

When contacting henrysgas.co.za they said that they couldn't get gas from Sasol Secunda, and I must say, even Afrox gas has been impossible to get.

I'm talking simple 9kg refills. Builders Warehouse, every Engen, and BP, and Sasol has been out of gas for nearly a week.

Anyone experiencing the same ?
 
Lots of places around us were running out of stock but there was still some to be found. Demand went up like mad, apparently gas heater sales also went through the roof and stocks were insanely low.

no shortage, Northern Subs Cape Town, just popped my supplier a whatsapp...refills for 1 X 19L and 2X 9L, delivery tomorrow.

****, Henry's is my supplier too, but I get 48s.
Will need some more soon. Scary.
 
Not in Wynberg, Cape Town. Got a 9kg today for R185. Kismet in Park Road
 
Friend in Fourways struggled to find gas for two days. I refilled my 9kg at Sydsgas on Monday but had to wait 3 hours for it. While I was waiting all the folks with 9kg exchanges were turned away. They were waiting for a delivery of exchange cylinders.

My parents in Tableview are waiting for their hardware store to get more gas as well.
 
Got a new 9kg tank at Builders Fourways 2 weeks ago. Then got my other 9kg and a 48kg swapped out by Kilburn Gas last week - they said their gas has been imported so can try them.

Ordered from Henrys. They reckon 4 July delivery

Had an issue with a shortage here in Kempton. Thing is I havent gone to more places.

Same. I went to the Gas Boys on Dann road last week. They didn't have, and I just used my reserve at home. I didn't bother asking anywhere else. I'll actually go check again today on my travels though.

(I usually use Gas on The Run on North Rand road. Even with delivery to Glen Marais they are the cheapest around)
 
We bought this heater right before the cold front hit. We ran out of gas on Friday, still unable to find someone that has in stock, except for 1 place in Randburg that had like 12 people in the queue when my bf went to refill.

Luckily we can use the electric part while we don't have gas

My local engin garage was out, but the small independent hardware had plenty and seemed to be unaware of any supply problems.
