Gates to step down

One small step for Gates, one huge leap for Linux. This is going to be so cool.... we get to laugh at another M$ man now. :D

On the non-Linux side, Bill has done somewhat decent in his life and yeah, I think it's time...
 
Wonder how MS will phase now that he's going. Cya Gates.
 
Can I take a different view to the usual "we hate microsoft" stance that we usually take and say that we do have to acknowledge what the man has done for the personal computer... yes in the latter years we may object to the attempted monopoly and other business practices but he played a part in getting a pc into every home.

For this I thank Bill Gates. Enjoy your retirement!
 
Gates hasn't been heading MS for a while now. Nothing will actually change once he's left. I suppose now that he's officially left he can run home and install linux on his home computer :)

The man who kickstarted the Linux revolution ........ imagine if there was no Windows to hate :D Respect for what he's done and thanks for 'making' PC's what they are Bill :D

Gates made it possible to have a PC in most homes, much respect
 
Ballmer's gonna throw more chairs what with Bill not there anymore :D:D:D

It is with mixed feelings that I read this thread. Suffice it to say that I wish Bill good luck on his move.
