Before you lost your virginity did you know if you were a top or bottom? Versatile guys can also answer.

It's a stupid question, I guess, but that thread about kid who wants to lose his virginity in public made me think if he even knows who will be in what role.

A gay guy at my work told me that if he hooks up with a guy, he first has to ask him if he is a pitcher or a catcher. Apparently a catcher will never be a pitcher and vice versa. Although you do get guys who errr swing both ways but apparently they are in the minority.

I've never had sex with another guy, only girls, but I'm 98% sure I'm a bottom. I don't really have interest in being a top, but I'm not writing anything off until I've actually gone the distance.

Something that I've been wondering about lately is whether a relationship between two bottoms can work out in the long run? It seems to me like a recipe for disaster.

I have done both but I am exclusively a top now.

That is what happened with me. Tried bottom with a guy when I was in college. He was top only .... found it very uncomfortable and painful. I could not relax. Then a few years ago a friend of mine (top only also) wanted to play and promised me he will take his time. a couple of hours of foreplay later and it was fantastic.

Top, Top/Versatile, Versatile, Bottom/Versatile, Bottom.

And as mentioned one may drift between any of those ranges depending on different factors.
