Hi, guys I need some help with a supplier that are advising on the web(https://gearhere.co.za/). the only thing I'm worried about if they are legit . Are they PC components suppliers , they not going to rib me of. Their pricing are looking good though.

I was looking for RTX 3080 price listing today and also saw an add on Google for Gearhere. I was suspicious but glad I found this thread. I'm looking to buy the RTX 3080 MSI. So Kevin if you can make me a good deal I'd rather buy local and support your business than buy it from Amazon. But then again not if I can save R10, 000 on the GPU RTX 3080.

While I have no idea of the legitimacy of Gear Here, it saddens me that someone who is trying to make a go of it has to face such challenges as laid out in this thread. It is understandable but - wow, it is hard enough to start a business in this country as it is. I do hope they are legit and I really hope, if they are, that all you guys support them!
 
Completely agree with you. It takes balls to start something up in the current climate and with many retailers closing down and many of the remaining go-to’s offering consistently bad service, businesses like this should be supported.

If you need someone to test the waters in so far as an order is concerned, then I will be the willing Guinea Pig. I placed an order and paid for an MSI RTX 3090 Gaming X Trio last night. The communication upon enquiring on availability was prompt and helpful from Chante who advised that the pre-orders for the first batch of cards was unfortunately sold out, but the second batch of cards would arrive mid-late October and would give me a more precise date on Monday.

I will update further when I hear from them.

Actually ordered a AOC CQ27G2 27" QHD 144Hz screen from them, cheapest i could find in SA without actually importing from amazon.co.uk

Had a dead/dying/stuck pixel from day one, Kevin(Had his whatsapp contact saved as Kieran) promptly replaced the screen. After hearing and experiencing nightmare returns with the bigger pc only retailers, its refreshing to have excellent customer service.
 
Many long running accounts with very low post counts in this thread all singing praises or ordering.

Not that I'm suggesting anything sinister....no, seriously, I'm not. :whistling:

I ordered virtuoso headset. Gets delivered tomorrow. Their communication is great and the prices are great. I will update once the item arrives.

Then there is also the suspension side to your company being new with good pricing making you wonder it is a legit business place you can trust.

Do you have any proof of being a legit place or any track history of successful purchasis that did not go wrong.

I Would appreciate some feedback if you don't mind and I'm being causciouse since it is a lot of money to pay to an unknown business.

We have responded to your E-mail before canceling your Order. Please be advised that cards are being allocated as "first pay first serve" and a way we keep track is by order numbers. Unfortunately, someone else ordered after you and made the payment. Thus we had to cancel your order.

These cards are in very high demand and we deal with a lot of clients placing orders and enquiring then never make payment. It would be unfair to our clients who make immediate payments to wait longer for cards because of this.
