Gearbest.com - Any good?

I am waiting for a confirmation from GearBest currently to confirm if there is an issue. I do not believe that it has affected all their warehouses but only some. I should have confirmation tomorrow.

If there are some issues, they will contact to advise. I will be pushing them to ship via DHL as an alternative and if anybody does face issues, please PM me so I can check up with them for you.

Regarding extra fees, there will be Customs duties & Vat payable on most items. Does depend on the model as the higher it goes, there more you will have to pay. Not generally to bad.

Regarding delivery, if the item is in stock, it normally takes 2-3 weeks generally with shipping and clearance. During December, it might take slightly longer due to the public holidays which does cause slight delays.

Thanks for the info. What % is custom duties on cellphones ?
 
Well, I have now had it, have cancelled my order and asked for a refund. After nearly 30 days and the item I ordered and paid for has still not even left the warehouse.

One of the other reasons why is that they downgraded my shipping to "flat rate shipping" and couldn't tell me if the insurance I asked for and paid for would be included in the flat rate shipping.

Gearbest will not see me again.

Exactly the same problem, Iv had a parcel ordered on the 7th and it still hadn’t been shipped to us, so there is a Xmas Mi Box gift being missed!!

Then the second parcel today is a repeat order of something that always ships with Aramex however today I get told it cannot be sent with Aramex and has to be normal shipping what Bs
 
GearBest has informed me that there is no issue. They have asked for the information (Order numbers) of the people facing issues so that they can investigate.

If anybody is having issues, please PM me the order number and I will query them. They will take a few days to respond but I will be pushing them daily for feedback.
 
I've been waiting more than a month just for my order to be shipped out even after paying extra for priority delivery - really doubt I will use them again...

There is clearly an issue with Aramex, why would Aramex not be able to ship items that I have been shipped before using the same method?

On the other side it’s literally one support message a day when we try communicate.

Seriously though, my mi box took 20 days to arrive, 7 of those were gearbest, the rest Aramex.

It has been clicked but that doesn’t help the fact that they have a issue with Aramex and not letting us ship through them.
 
Spoke with GearBest and it seems to be the common Postal Code issue that is causing problems and the support center is responding incorrectly. Aramex is still available with the correct postal code and it requires a message to them to update it.

If you are having issues, PM me your order number and address and I will advise how to respond. They will then advise the shipping company to update the details and ship out.
 
Maybe we can get a list of "correct" postal codes from Aramex. Sadly the support responses were so slow I eventually just canceled. Seems Becky is slightly overwhelmed.....
 
I've also contacted PayPal ... The to and fro with no resolution and this after me giving them the "correct" postal code. Gearbest responded with a response that mirrored their previous response to me ... Along the lines that they can't ship and I should choose one of the available Shipping options ...This is the last straw ...

Apologies dude on that behalf man, I literally had smooth sailing till now and this recent batch of complaints. Previously got my orders within a few days without even a single support ticket or request.
