In case anyone was wondering if Aramex has improved on their ability to delivery items, the answer is no, no they have not.
I did the Priority Line thing with Gearbest (which is a change from my normal economy shipping with insurance), turns out though, Aramex cannot deal with addresses that their really cheap competitors dont seem to have issue with.
One would have assumed that because you have paid a company to manage your shipment, it would get through customs a little quicker than the usual month or two, but since my package hasnt moved since the 23rd, I figured I had erred in my judgement... but then I got this gem from Gearbest:

May I ask if you have received your parcel? The shipping company contacted us that they could not deliver your parcel successfully because they can not find your delivery address, and your phone number is wrong. So if you have not received your parcel, please kindly contact the shipping company and give us your correct address at once.
Because the shipping company can not keep the parcel so long time, the parcel may be destroyed at your local place, if you can not contact them in a timely manner.
This is really fantastic, because when you phone them to inquire as to what has caused such confusion, they regurgitate the same shipping info I see online (they literally pay someone to enter your tracking number on a webpage and give you the result) instead of providing some form of detail into the confusion... and at the end of it, tell you to phone customs to find out what is going on (so glad I paid 5x more for a shipping company to tell me to find it myself), which I havent done, because I lost the number as the call ended.
Thus, I have sent an email to the local outlet for Aramex and am going to hope that I dont get an email back with copy and pasted online tracking info. (Their website is a reflection of their ability to deliver, which is to say, it doesnt, at least not very well).
