Ah, I've been there when I once was in PE in 2000 odd. Nice coffee.

I was thinking about bringing them a sample of the Starbucks coffee and asking them to copy it but I couldn't find any here in PE. At R150 a kg it would have been a winner. Here's my dealer! : http://www.mastertonscoffee.co.za
I was wondering if anyone here might know where in SA I could get a standard ridgeless 58mm portafilter basket. Looking for a double one
10-20? :wtf:
I'd have loved to try that with beans, but I'd be bankrupt like really really soon.
1. Feel free to state your consumption
5+ cups a day.
2. affected by the caffeine in coffee?
One evening I had a double espresso and it kept me going for another 6h.
A week later I had a double espresso and I was asleep 2h later.
3. Do you drink it black, white and how many sugars?
Sometimes black (winter)
Sometimes with a nice dash of milk (filter coffee)
Usually with some sugar.
I drink Nescafe Gold sometimes.
Generally I drink Douwe Egberts, the exact one differs from time to time.
Filter coffee (beans)
HoC VIP Blend
Woolies Arabica (or espresso blend)
There's also a coffee farm in Umhlanga where I get coffee from.
Lol, as some interest. Woolies had a special on their Espresso last week. I got 500gr of beans for R45.... I really can't complain about that. So I bought three of those packs. Should have bought some more actually, but the special ended on Sunday.
In the East there is a Coffee Roastery that is R45 for 500g, and they have flavoured coffee's too they are awesome
Place is called Roastmasters, totally worth trying imho. just reply if you want their number.
beans about coffee in irene. daily roasting. delicious. mmmm. kawfee.
I've been there... It's the best place in the world (That's close to work)!![]()
Faaaaaar for me. Well, like 25km far.

try these guys in Cape Town http://gourmetroasters.co.za/
they distribute and repair a wide range of machines, so I imagine they'd have decent stock of portafilters
Otherwise maybe just look for suppliers of commercial espresso machines in your area
R120-R145/kg exVat... yeah still not bad.
Do they sell beans or only ground?
