Allow me to start off this thread with Eskom your mother.
Now that we have that out of the way.
I have:
1x desktop PC ( 550W PSU + GTX650 etc etc )
1x Vumatel CPE
1x TP-LINK Fibre Router
What I want:
Something that'll run these 3 devices for 2.5 - 3 hrs straight without interruption during load shedding. Gaming, surfing the net etc.
I want something that if there is a power surge of some sorts that it'll protect my stuff. Meaning, I would prefer for the UPS or whatever to absorb the surge and kak off first before my PC or router or whatever blows.
When the power comes back on I want to continue gaming / surfing as if the power never went out. Said unit must obviously also charge then.
What can I get? I dont want to spend millions but I don't want inferior quality crap. Some oke told me a 2000VA or 2KA or whatever UPS should do the trick. I need advice from okes on here that know what they're talking about.
I'm not a fan of messing with electricity while I don't know what I'm doing.
Just want to know if I can use a UPS for that setup for 3 hrs non-stop usage.
