That inept handling is still somehow better than a lot of Europe, weird.

Almost like the second most visited country in the world is going to have a large outbreak.

Never mind that this was largely left to the individual states on how they wanted to proceed... You know, like how all of you were moaning when he wanted to force the states to open and they gave him the middle finger.

Why are these states suddenly independent enough to choose when they want to open but not when they should've closed...? Coincidence that the 2 most affected states are... Democrat? That explains the shifting of blame on to Trump, likes these riots actually.

I'll forgive the forgetfulness and not being able to connect dots. Biden supporters, after all.

You need a federal response to a pandemic, piecemeal doesnt work, i never moaned once about all states opening up at the same time.

See above - that's a source claiming it's actually an alt-right orgnisation called: "Evropa" inciting violence. Not saying there hasn't been outright blatant looting - there is clear evidence of that too, but these white supremacist fscknuts are definitely trying to turn things violent.

My guess is that if they do that then Daddy Trump is justified in deploying the military and they can then escalate further to a full on race war.

There are two sides to every issue, Floyd was far from clean but he didn't deserve the death he did.

There are peaceful protestors being fked by the police. There are insane riots where it looks like warzones and people are dying. There are going to be extremes everywhere

And theres the third side which is the riots mean the police cannot afford to not crack down on hard everyone, this is a exceptional situation and the normal rules don't apply. If they handle everyone with kid gloves it encourages more riots to break out.

The US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York filed the appeal Tuesday with the Second Circuit Court to stay the release of Colinford Mattis, 32, and his alleged accomplice, 31-year-old Urooj Rahman.


They argued in the appeal that the nature of the crime — which they believe to have strong evidence was committed by Mattis and Rahman — warrants the detention of the pair until their trials.

He was an anti-poverty intern for the mayor of San Francisco, a middle school math and science teacher with Teach for America, an intellectual property intern at Microsoft, a legislative fellow for Colorado State Senator Mike Johnson and the president of the Princeton University Black Student Union. At the time of his arrest, Mattis was a furloughed associate at Pryor Cashman and a board member on the Brooklyn Community Board, according to the New York Times.

According to the New York Times, Rahman is also exceptionally well-educated and worked as a human rights lawyer before her arrest. According to reports, she was identified in a Facebook post about a speaking engagement in April with a Muslim group, where Rahman was supposed to discuss “Love of the Earth.” It’s unclear how the pair know each other.

On Monday, federal prosecutors said Mattis and Rahman attempted to distribute Molotov cocktails to protesters before they were arrested, according to the New York Post. Prosecutors referenced photographic evidence of the attempted distribution taken by a witness.

Antifa has definitely been part of violence during these riots, there is no question about that. What i want to know from Peggie is where is the source that they were responsible for the death of that policeman specifically.

Well we don't have a systemic racist problem. Our police was just a bit "over enthusiastic" when they beat some people to death for breaking the lockdown. It's all fine.
