George Floyd death

And while the sheep keep heatedly arguing over things of emotion instead of fact the sheppard calmly leads them tho the slaughtering poles....... the dogs keeping them in line are happy no matter what happens.

It's only okay for others rights to be trampled on, never ours. The day is coming when someone in authority is going to overstep their boundaries and harm us, for both you and me. Do you want people on the internet arguing that it was a mistake or that we deserved it? Or do you want to stop that from ever happening to someone?

Okay, even if we assume the act of kneeling on his the man's neck wasn't a contributing factor, the man was having a heart attack - not only did the cop refuse to render assistance to the man, he actively prevented anyone else from offering first aid to him - assistance might have made the difference between him living or dying.

That in itself is worthy of a murder charge...
I agree, but now we have to prove that he knowingly withheld support because he knew the guy was having a heart attack, right? I have a feeling this is going to get dropped down to involuntary manslaughter, which I think is less than 2 years of jail time.

It goes hand in hand with the attitude being taught to most cops in the US...

"Get home alive at the end of the day" and "Better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6"

Policing is a dangerous profession (yet still not in the top ten in the US) but cops are being taught that their first duty is to themselves, not to the public that they serve.

On top of which, qualified immunity from 1967 has totally shielded the police from civil rights violation claims. The number of cases of clear police abuse that have been dismissed in court is quite staggering. The last couple of weeks have seen literally hundreds of documented, clear-cut cases of civil rights abuses carried out in broad daylight by a police force that appears to have no fear of recrimination. It's clearly authoritarian.

The famous phrase " protect and serve" doesn't mean what people think it means.

people on the internet calling him fentanyl Floyd , don't they know that's a hate crime ?

It beggars belief that the Libertarians have been so quiet over this.

The fantasy is that it's possible to stop it. Events have been set into motion, agendas have been fermenting for decades, some agendas for centuries. Those who lust after authority will not be dissuaded by the mewling of impotent sheeple.

Whatever happens yes we will deserve it, we chose to bicker and get intoxicated instead of educating ourselves when it became clear our handlers had no intention of doing it for us..... we chose as a society to chase short term emotional satisfaction and we will soon enough reap the rewards..... run from it, hide from it, it is inevitable. The fantasy is that we can avoid paying the wages of the entertainment we sought.

There is no one who's rights do not get trampled on in some way, we are all in the same hole-ridden boat, it's just that some are under the delusion that they are actually free or privileged in some way, that they are immune enough to upset the boat without consequences to themselves.

@STS

As an aside, if you act like an animal you get treated like an animal. This is the way of human nature, going against it means ruin, as has been plainly proven.

These antifa crazies and maybe half of BLM have forfeited the right to be treated with respect. Cause and effect, only children think they can avoid it.

Man, I wish I could find those videos. If his knee was on the man's back like it should've been. Nothing would've been amiss with the situation. That is how policemen calm someone down. They put them on the floor and ensure they cannot move.

That makes zero sense, he was cuffed and calm sitting in the car?

And when the law acts like criminals, does the same logic not apply?

Like this "Antifa" family who went camping?

Russians :D

The looting criminals probably think the same.
When it acts like a animal you treat it like an animal, no exemptions.

There is also a difference between bullying and actual material harm. Both are immoral but they must be treated differently.

Libertarians generally believe the only legitimate role of the state is to maintain law and order, so that they don't have to do it themselves.

There's also been many examples of libertarians like the loved rooftop Koreans defending their own property.

I just love how they have basically stepped right back into their traditional role of shameless political agitator.

Would this be the kind of "shameless political agitator" that would attempt to influence a US election in as many ways as possible in order to get their favoured weak candidate elected...

...or not?
