Anyone here heard of Tony Timpa? No?

He died exactly the same way as Floyd. yet no outrage from the media. The police that were there were charged with a minor offence but charges where later withdrawn!

He says, while posting a clip from the media, from a news outlet that fought for 3 years to get access to that footage. Same media that's now called the "enemy of the people" by same posters' hero.

Comical.

St. Louis man charged with murder in fatal shooting of retired police captain

A 24-year-old man was charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a retired St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department captain who was killed while protecting a friend's pawn shop from looters last week, authorities said Sunday.

Stephan Cannon of St. Louis faces one count of first-degree murder, one count of first-degree burglary, one count of unlawful possession of a firearm, and two counts of armed criminal action in connection with retired captain David Dorn's death. He is being held without bond, according to St. Louis police.

Jimmie Robinson, 27, was also charged with first-degree burglary, armed criminal action and stealing in connection with Dorn's death. He's being held on $30,000 cash-only bond.

According to a police probable cause statement, Cannon was among those seen on surveillance footage entering the pawn shop and stealing several televisions, The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. When Dorn, a friend of the pawn shop’s owner who would check on the store when alarms went off, arrived at the store, Cannon walked toward the street corner with gun in his hand.

“At the time the shots were fired, he (Cannon) was the only person standing at that corner,” the probable cause statement reads. “Multiple plumes of smoke” can be seen coming from where Cannon was standing, and shell casings were found on the spot, police said.

Police unions are going to be the biggest hurdle in reforming the force.

Police unions dig in as criticisms grow

Calls for reforming policing are growing louder in the US, but given the political power police unions wield, that may be easier said than done

A crowd of police officers in Philadelphia gathered outside their local union headquarters on Monday to show their support for one of their own -- a staff inspector facing assault charges after allegedly beating a college student at an anti-racism protest last week.

Like all criminal defendants, Philadelphia Police Staff Inspector Joseph Bologna is innocent until proven guilty. But it seemed like the crowd of more than 100 applauding officers already made up their minds, despite viral footage of Bologna hitting the student in the back of the head with a metal baton, sending him to the hospital.

Following the rally, the union that represents Bologna issued a statement, saying it "will not stand-by and watch Inspector Bologna get railroaded."

As public opinion shifts on issues of police violence and racial discrimination, and cities begin to rethink their approach to law enforcement, powerful police unions across the country are digging in, and preparing for a once-in-a-generation showdown over policing.

The flashpoint has been seemingly brewing for years and has flared in intensity with each high-profile police killing involving an African American. Elected officials, facing more pressure than ever after last month's police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, are pledging to take action.

"Let me be clear, we're going after the police union," Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said Monday on ABC's Good Morning America, after members of the city council said they wanted to go even further and dismantle the local police department to pursue other models of policing.

George Floyd murder suspect Derek Chauvin has bail set at $1.25m

The Minneapolis ex-policeman accused of killing unarmed black man George Floyd has made his first court appearance, where his bail was set at $1.25m (£1m).

Prosecutors cited the "severity of the charges" and public outrage as the reason for upping his bail from $1m.

Derek Chauvin faces charges of second-degree murder and manslaughter. Three other arresting officers are charged with aiding and abetting murder.

Mr Floyd's death in May led to global protests and calls for police reform.

Mr Chauvin, who is white, knelt on Mr Floyd's neck for almost nine minutes while he was being arrested in Minneapolis on 25 May.

You're like the poster child for Lost Cause myth-making.

It goes on.

Read the words of Jefferson Davis, of the Southern Governors, of the Confederate publications etc.

They're extremely clear what it was about.

First the holocaust isn't real, then Apartheid wasn't bad, now slavery wasn't that bad either

a prosecution playing to the masses doomed to fail:

First-degree murder Any intentional murder that is willful and premeditated with malice aforethought.

Second-degree murder Any intentional murder with malice aforethought, but is not premeditated or planned in advance

Involuntary manslaughter is defined as an unintentional killing that results either from criminal negligence or the commission of a low-level criminal act such as a misdemeanor. Involuntary manslaughter is distinguished from other forms of homicide because it does not require deliberation or premeditation, or intent.

It's no different from the kind of language Julius uses. "white people this...white people that"

/sigh
That's not particularly racist. White people don't have a problem with being white or being identified as white. With Julius the problem is everything that comes next.

Who do you think is being referred to when saying “fckem cuntz”?

Hint: it’s not the rapist or his buddy.

Edit: not to mention “blacks broke in”

Not even “black people”.

“Blacks”. Could’ve been worse I guess, he could’ve said “The blacks”.
O boy. You are ashamed of your own skin.

Vandalism from the police. Doing wonders for their image.

Why?

Edit found why.
State Patrol troopers strategically deflated tires … in order to stop behaviors such as vehicles driving dangerously and at high speeds in and around protesters and law enforcement," Gordon said.

Gordon said the patrol also targeted vehicles "that contained items used to cause harm during violent protests" such as rocks, concrete and sticks.
"While not a typical tactic, vehicles were being used as dangerous weapons and inhibited our ability to clear areas and keep areas safe where violent protests were occurring," he said. As in all operations of this size, there will be a review about how these decisions were made."

I'm not one of the "south will rise again" idiots if that's what you are alluding to

They're extremely clear what it was about.
Then if that was all there was to it, explain how half the north was still slave holding untill the end of the war when it had changed to being a war against slavery? These states wold never have entered on the side of the north if it was about slavery per se to begin with.

It's often called an obsession around these boards.

Yeah? So?

The what's the point of adding people? What's racist of leaving it out?

The same people that say "the blacks" also say "the whites"...... where is the racism?

It is. Julius obviously have an obsession with white people. That's why he always talks about them .
Is that not double standards? Both rant about race and make unfounded sweeping generalisations.

Crime was committed by thugs.
