White Woman Calls Cops On Man Writing ‘Black Lives Matter’ On His Own Property
A San Francisco woman is already losing business for what she now acknowledges was a “racist” move.

A white woman in San Francisco who called police on her neighbor for writing Black Lives Matter in chalk on his own property apologized Sunday.

“I did not realize at the time that my actions were racist and have learned a painful lesson,” Lisa Alexander said in a statement to ABC.
Alexander, CEO of the La Face skin care line, reportedly is already suffering professional consequences since video showing her and her partner confronting James Juanillo in the posh Pacific Heights neighborhood went viral. Her partner was fired from his job at financial services firm Raymond James, the company said Monday.

Juanillo, who identifies as Filipino, took the video of his neighbors confronting him as he stenciled Black Lives Matter on his retaining wall. They later called the cops, who recognized Juanillo and didn’t get out of their squad car, he said.
Birchbox announced it had severed ties with Alexander’s brand, SFGate reported, and the La Face website appeared to be inaccessible as of Monday morning.

Chilling New Footage Shows Police Officer Ignoring Pleas To Help George Floyd
Officer Tou Thao does not respond or react to a group of people demanding that he help George Floyd, who was later pronounced dead.

New footage released by the attorney for the family of George Floyd shows one of the officers on the scene ignoring pleas from bystanders asking him to intervene.

“He’s not ****ing moving,” one of several bystanders told then-Minneapolis police officer Tou Thao as then-officer Derek Chauvin pressed his knee into Floyd’s neck.

The footage posted by Ben Crump showed Thao ignoring repeated calls from bystanders to intervene and help Floyd, to check his pulse and to stop the assault. Thao does not.
“You just killed that man,” someone yelled at the officer.

The video, which is graphic, was posted to Crump’s Instagram account here.

Floyd was later pronounced dead, triggering weeks of civil unrest and Black Lives Matter demonstrations around the nation as protesters demanded police reform.

Minneapolis has a “duty to intervene” law on the books requiring officers to take action to stop the inappropriate use of force. Since the slaying, Chauvin, Thao and two other officers have been fired and are all facing criminal charges.

Its not on special but well worth it for those interested.

Ha ha ha you are talking absolute garbage to win internet points.

Nobody ****ing cares about statues not here not anywhere.

To be honest, I do care about certain statues..

Those being the statues to the soldiers and people who died in wars.
And to be clear both sides who were involved in the conflict. No one has the moral high-ground in war. Innocent people die on both sides, even if they were soldiers because you are killed if you don't "join the war effort".

A senseless loss of life.
For what?
Just so that someone or some tribe can be called the momentary rulers of a piece of spec of dust that we call earth? The planet we ALL call home.

So yes, those statues do have meaning to me. Those lives mattered. Imagine how many poets, writers, doctors, scientists, etc. - how many potential inventions they could have developed to help humans - died on the battlefield.

We are sadly heading into the ****ing bullshit at an amazing pace.

Its your favorite past time.

Its not that simple, Do I wish it was yes, but you think history and the consequences just cease to have impact because you believe in individualism? but its easy for us who's individualism is built on the privilege we have experienced.

Its nice its easy, its also disingenuous.

Yet he judges people by their group identity. konfab is a communist confirmed!

Maybe statues should be there to remind people of their past.
It was one of the suggestions that was made with the whole RhodesMustFall thing, was that instead of tearing down the statue, they would put up the history of what they did such that to contextualise the statue in a historically correct way.

So do you think they should put a statue of Hitler up next to Churchill?

So they don't like studies and they don't like stats,

Despite the value of this much-needed research, its approach is mathematically incapable of supporting its central claims. In this letter, we clarify the gap between what Johnson et al.’s study asserts and what it actually estimates, as well as the implications of that difference for policymaking and future scholarship on race and policing.

Not to mention the researchers themselves saying people are misusing it.

Its authors, University of Maryland psychology professor David Johnson and Michigan State University psychology professor Joseph Cesario, weren’t actually making a point about police bias at all. The study was about identifying the race of police officers involved in fatal shootings and showing whether or not it matched the race of their victims, not shedding light on motive, Johnson told CityLab.

Speaking of stats and studies, here's 160+studies that look at racial bias in the US justice system and found it pretty much everywhere. Policing, courts, prisons, etc.

I'm sure you'll ignore it again.
