If it weren't for Apartheid, the education budget would have been stretched exponentially, meaning every public school would have been far worse than they were.

Just because there were non-white kids in your school, doesn't mean you didn't benefit from apartheid. It just means some non-white kids weren't disadvantaged as badly as others
 
I think that these guys are doing the right thing. A serious conversation about race and white privilege are desperately needed.

Sympathy? Not sympathy. Simply refuting the BS claim that every white person benefited from apartheid. There were unemployed dirt poor whites in 1972 and there are dirt poor whites today. My own mother made do with church handouts and hand-me-downs from good-hearted neighbours. She sure as hell did not benefit from apartheid.

If we are honest, she probably would have been worse off if it weren't for Apartheid. The church might have been busy helping many other people...

Why? Will the others only move on once we admit we are the most heinous creatures to have ever sucked in oxygen? I will not be made to apologise or feel dirty for what and who I am.

**** happened, get the hell over it already. Nobody moves forward if you are too busy staring backwards. So sick of the race issue in this country.

And black people didn'thave their own churches and those churces weren't helping?

I never hear the term "white privilege" in the mainstream discourse. White privilege hasn't been talked about at all let alone enough. Besides, why do some people throw such a tantrum when white privilege or even just racism is talked about?
