Get free data when using the FNB app

so technically I should get 1GBm although I have a FNB widget set up and SMS, and never saw anything pick up for me,

so maybe I need to do it once again?

Got 1GB. Doesn't appear on my primary number MTN.

Have to use the FNB sim for this?

I got SMS too and don't have a FNB connect SIM, so of no use, don't know why they even bother if one doesn't have a linked FNB Connect SIM. My phone has 10GB Telkom, my tablet has 10GB Telkom and my personal wifi at work has 30GB Vodacom. I laught at 1GB bwhahahaha :p

I think it's just marketing to get people to switch to FNB connect

What did your sms say? Mine was 1GB awarded to 083123123123xx (my fnb number)

Don't have FNB connect either. So probably same as the sms I received.

Thanks for info. I was wondering how to use the 10GB free data since I don't have an FNB connect account. I guess I have to go to the bank to buy the R10 FNB Connect sim card.

Mine from November only expires on the 7th of December. When in November did you get yours?

I'm not able to get any more than 1GB - is there something I'm missing on how to get more? On Premier...
 
I did too, 1GB according to the SMS.

Someone from FNB also tried to phone me in regards to FNB connect and getting a SIM card, until I explained I have 10GB Telkom on phone, 10GB Telkom on tablet and 30GB Vodacom on LTE router and that I wouldn't even get out of bed for 1GB free, so they don't need to waste their time and resources sending me a SIM I wont use...
 
People don't seem to understand this is for FNB Connect only.

What I want to know is what happens when you have multiple sims?
