Getting stuck in a 4x4

I'n no 4x4 driver but just looking at some of those places, it seems obvious not to go there. What were those drivers thinking? In fact, were they thinking at all?

The problem is that you can't always see what it ahead - in which case you should stop and have a look.... sometimes people get lazy, and just hope for the best.

Happens a lot in the dunes, where you have to drive up hill, you can't see over the top of the dune... technically, you should first walk to the top, to see what's on the other side before driving over.
