Perhaps. Never been one for anonymity or pseudonymity though. I've always maintained that if I'm not prepared to stake my reputation and personal brand on something, it's probably not worth saying.
 
Well you've just screwed both your reputation and personal brand with that idiotic blog post. She will take you to the cleaners and honestly, rightly so.

I don't understand what you mean when you say 'she should know how to deal with that' - deal with what exactly? I thought if your page comes up first in Google results then it means your SEO is doing a good job? Sorry, your post doesn't make sense to me...
 
I assume that by "getting sued for defamation" you mean you have received a lawyers letter of some shape or form rather than a summons or notice of motion.

You really should be seeking assistance from a trusty attorney and more importantly should be applying a little bit of common sense before saying stupid ****, especially if you will battle to afford a trusty attorney.

On what has been posted on this forum it appears that an written apology and take down of defamatory material by all concerned would be a better course than for either party to approach a court with potentially dirty hands.
