We have spoken a little outside of the "netz" - problem is now her number.

I think what I am going to do, is organize a braai or another get-together with some old mates (some of whom she knows), and use that time to chat lekka with her...

Might be the wrong thing if I want to speak 1-1 with her, though...

So I dunno... Gurus ?

Braai is a good idea. Surrounded by mates she will feel more comfortable. Is she hot? Does she have hot friends? Can I come? :D:D:D

Seriously, you can have a 1 on 1 at a braai - don't be put off if other people are around and might possibly overhear you talking. Who gives a ****? Just speak your mind (but word it carefully as you don't want to scare her off ;) )

Perhaps a get together at a place is also ok? Maybe like at a Dros/Capellos or something?

Oh, and she's super hot (around a 9/10).

Not the Dros - sheez!!!!! Braai is good - stop changing your mind. If you decide to go out instead, then make sure its a more social place where you can drink, eat if need be and dance as well. Whereabouts are you? A good place for a group of mates is Rodizzios in Bedford View JHB...

News Cafe isnt a bad idea. Will think of a few places in Fourways you can go apart from Billy The Bums and the like and get back to you. Difficult though without knowing her personality. Cubana isnt bad - FTV is a little stuck up but nice venue...

Ah, flattery will get you nowhere...:o :D

I choose to remain single. I prefer it this way. Broke up with my fiance` a while back and decided to stay single for a while after that. I have my fun though without strings (no boodles insinuation here :sick:)

OP: braai thing is good stick with that ... cause its the kinda scene where you can chat with her privately ... again dont try to hard, if you dont "click" with her when chatting just leave it at that ... the attraction is there cool! but also click on the other level ... whats the point have a super fine las if you cant enjoy a conversation with her ...

Well if she likes her wine, then ask her to teach you about wine while you out. If she says she is just a social drinker and doesnt know much, then ask why. [-]Seem[/-] Be interested. Then, however you want to do it, build up to asking her out. The kicker being that you know of a great restaurant that is having a wine-tasting evening soon and you would love to have some company, blablabla. If you have played your cards right then this is an easy sale.

Now go and find out which restaurants are having a wine tasting evening soon, get the date and time and remember these when you meet up with her. Now you have a reason to get her number - see, simple.

Another tip: do not ask her out near the beginning of the evening as this can make things a little awkward sometimes, and do not leave it for the last minute either. DO NOT LEAVE IT FOR THE LAST MINUTE. Somewhere in between will do and always ask her out at the exact point during a conversation when she has a smile on her face.

I don't ask for much in return for this advice, just the rights to your first born child and dibs on her friends...:D:D
