It should be noted, however, that within a network infrastructure there'll be an average "promise index", and then the same "promise index" exist in sections of the network. The reason Pietermaritzburg and Verwoerdburg (and even Durban) is so much higher than Jhb, is network congestion. I.e. it's a question of how many users is actually using the network in a given area. Across all businesses certain areas of sales are subsidising other areas. Jhb is not only paying for itself, it's doing so good it's probably paying for Pietermaritzburg and Verwordburg (and yes, perhaps Durban) without breaking a sweat. If Pietermaritzburg had to pay solely for itself the connectivity there would've been in the tens of thousands of rand per subscriber (I'm thumb-sucking here, so pls no "where do you get your figures from!?!?!!").
What I'm saying is, yes, SA's networks has a lot of work that should (and could) be done to them. What I'm also saying is that it is unfair to compare Jhb to Hungary, on the one side. However, it would be very interesting to see what the technology hub (i.e. "the place where the network originates) of Hungary. Not sure, but it's probably the capital, Budapest. It might be another city taking control of network infrastructure just like in SA it's not our capital Pta though, no clue - never bee to Hungary
MyBB, would you mind giving us the index of the network-controlling-city in the top cities so we can compare that to say Jhb and Pta? Would be really interesting to see if the stats makes sense (and, lol... if what I said made sense too)
