Any shop in that area that would sell it, couldn't find a store via the CellC website in that area.

No store anywhere near there? I haven't found any Cell C that stocks it but they all can order it for you. I don't know why Cell C can't just sell it on their website.

Only Game provided that facility, but they don't sell it anymore.

No help from CellC Rep?

Think that's because the CellC rep can't.

Think part of the problem is that you can't RICA online, a lot of these shops are in malls, close to the likes of a Aramax/Postnet.
So can't see why physically sending it isn't an option.

Not in Bethlehem anymore though. But would be nice to know if it was possible to RICA it via online correspondence so that it could just get shipped.

I'm sorted now.

Loaded R1800 on one of my old sim cards, and they converted it to GIGA200.
The catch is, you must load the airtime, and not use any of the SUPACHARGE bonusses etc.
You basically forfeit everything that was on that sim.

Think that's part of why you don't have to option to do it via USSD yet,
apart from the hassle of loading R1800 airtime (Standard Bank limited to R500 a day for example, easypay at R275).

I would like cell c to do the same only if it is possible to add to on an existing giga sim card the data. . Hopefully they will add it to the USSD structure soon

Now that you brought this up what cell c can do is create a unique voucher for Giga200 and partner with takealot to move them or alternatively you could have purchased cell c airtime from takealot to the value of R1800 If you not lazy to enter all the voucher PIN.

I doubt they'll do that. One of the reasons Cell C sought alternative distribution channels is because the current ones incur commission both when selling airtime and when loading it onto a sim card. Depending upon agreements in place the network can lose as much as 20% of the airtime value after everyone in the chain gets their cut.

Only reason I can think of why they don't Introduce GIGA200 to USSD simple cause they want to encourage people buying smaller bundles. GIGA200 = value for money. I spent the other day R50 for like 300 meg on cell c was devasted how fast the money went with OOB shocker..

I agree with you on that statement. It's scarce coming across GIGA200 sim cards bought one last year the branch said they would get stock but never did. They phoned another branch of theirs and performed a sim swop kudos to them cos I was getting frustrated going everyday..

I think they don't make much commission on GIGA200. Does makro still stock them.

Where can one buy GIGA200 online

I

One gripe I have with these sim cards is that they expire. Last time I was using the 60GB like a regular sim card which should work and it just went dead. I don't know if this is still an issue.
