Hi folks.

I need help please.

I am not so clued up here.

Rather unprofessionally, we have ended up with a Gmail address as our primary business email. And had no issues for ages.

Recently we have started getting not delivered errors from some customers and suppliers.

The bounce back is from mailer-daemon at googlemail and the error is:

550 This message contains a known spam email address

I have been in contact with Google one and they say no errors on their side. I have contacted a suppliers isp who has said 'their system has detected an unusual rate of unsolicited emails from emails accounts IP. As a result regects email'

I have rotated our IP by turning off and on and verifying with whatismyipaddress.

Our provider is telkom lte.

Thanks for your help.

Error is other side
I have a friend working at Distell and I cannot email him
Bounces back
It is their email server settings

EDIT: Apologies didn't read properly. This is what we had to do, but was for the other way round when mailing to Gmail addresses.

The customer and suppliers mail server are rejecting your emails, based on their individual spam filter configuration..

They can technically add an exception for your email address, but should at the very least be able to tell you what needs to happen for the issue to be fixed..

This is going to be a matter of you speaking with the customers/suppliers, relaying the bounce information to them and then they speaking with the right people on their end to get answers..

In the interim, start moving over to a proper mail solution with your business domain..

If you are using it for sending large volumes of mail there are things you need to do to not find yourself in the bad reputation servers.

Volumes of mail, subject, body, unsubscribe links, bounce rate etc are all important.
