Gmail = Snailmail

I've had a "Gmail Drive" since around October last year and used it a fair bit up till the end of 2006 for files that RS kept deleting.
It worked well even though was not very fast from my side.

There is an install program for it called Gmail Drive and as far as I know the latest version is 1.0.11

Gmail is okay for Lite mails,like text.....
works better if integrated into your mail software as a dedicated account.
seems the spam filters deployed are from a country at war.
largeish attachments and movie media generally bounce.
In general it is inconsistent,but hey it is free.

Why is Gmail inconsistent? I've never had a single email bounce or any problem with it at all? It seems to be more reliable than most ISP mail services.

I agree Syndyre, I've never had those problems either and as I said in another post the spam filter is excellent, at least for me gmail works perfectly in every aspect.

Just checked gmail a few seconds ago and it's as fast as it normally is from CT anyway.
