GMSA costumer care...!!!

Ok, Did the car come with a boost gauge?
Yes? Oh my bad, I thought you added it afterwards.

Dude, Im on your side here, Id be pissed off too. What we are trying to tell you here is is simple. You probably will not ever get anything out of them as they can legally squash this quick quick. Bottom line is, Mods were done. That it, end of story. if your car didnt give you so much SH%T they probably wouldnt even care about the boost gauge etc. Seeing as they will now have to fork out big bucks they will now find a reason why not to honour the warranty and guess what... They have one.

Hi roux...i don't know how much more pressue i could put on them when i first started complaining about my vehicle... honestly.. the more i complained to them the more run arounds i got...
i mean 4 tappet covers and head gaskets.. 4 batteries in 3 years... 4 ignition packs... 3 coil packs.. clutch, gearbox, oxygen cells, cat's removed, 5 x wheel alignments done in 2 months... this has to be a dud of a car... there is no way i paid so much for a car and then work hard for it and go out and damage the car like this.. that's just insane to do something like that.. unless a person has got money to throw away...

hi ancalagon... installing the boost gauge was done by proffesionals i might just add.. they have been in the motor business for many years...installation a boost gauge is so simple to do... i am 100% confident that installing a boost gauge will do nothing to a engine loosing oil and that.. nothing.. there is really nothing to it.. it's 1 pipe... from one end to the other.. even a appy can figure that one out..

@Roux - I'm confused

The Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein on Monday ruled that the slogan, "worst 4X4Xfar" pasted along the side of an Isuzu bakkie did not defame General Motors SA.

i can prove that i have not done anything to the vevhile.. they must get a lie detector and that will be more then enough proof for them to see that nothing has been done..
i totally understand about the warranty policies and all that.. but if their mechines and what ever else the delearships use can't find the fault but yet standing next to the vechile and the issue is there what must a person do...

Seriously? A lie detector... Why didn't I think of that :wtf:

the dealer removed the cats after 468Kms of driving the vehicle and battery and ingnition pack and oxygen cells... i have got that on invoice to show

well people are asking how can i prove that i have done nothing to the vehicle that's the best way..

Well, if its a 2006 model then your warranty was over 2 years ago my man.
Your Maintenance plan is still intact though.

then how can they sell the car as brand new and all of that.. do the repairs and only when they can't solve the issue everything comes out..

What has come out?
If the car was first registered in 2008 then guess what, its a 2008. If it was MADE in 2006 but registered in 2008 guess what...
Its a 2008!
BUT, they had a 3 Year warranty so how the hell does your end in November this year?

I still don't understand, how does your vehicles warranty end in November this year?

because it was bought as a 2008 car.. and it was meant to be brand new according to the paper work. register 2008 jan.... so then..... jan 2008 - jan 2009 1 year jan 2009 - jan 2010 2 year
jan 2010 - jan 2011 3 years.. december most places close..okay so wow.. i missed out one month...

No, it would then be January 2011.

This is a waste of time im afraid. Modded Car in ANY WAY = Loss of warranty.
I don't care what mod was done, a mod is a mod is a mod.

Sad to say (again!) but after those 'mods' you do not have a leg to stand on. I know many dealers do allow minor mods, but it seems that GM KNOW they have given you a badly-put-together-POS and are using it as an escape route. You might be able to go the loooooooong legal route, maybe to prove many of the faults existed BEFORE your 'mods'...
