GMSA costumer care...!!!

Holy.. I've never seen such bad spelling in my life. And a GTC Turbo means you surely must a have a proper job (Or a lack of knowledge in interest rates etc). How did you land a job like that spelling like you do? You say you picked it up at the East Rand dealership? You don't happen to live in Brakpan?

i worked hard for this car... compliment taken on the spelling.. make fun it don't matter.. no i don't live in brakpan.
also you don't need to know how to spell 100% what counts is how you do the job at the end of the day... i know how to do my job not like what's happened here.

no if i buy something now it's going to be something small and fuel economic...

All cars have wear and tear - its just much higher on performance cars.

You'll find most performance cars are WAY better looked after than 'normal' cars - mainly because the people who buy them look after them better.

well that's my situation.. but to get GMSA to see other wise it's a mission...

and there i can also agree most people do look after the performance car better... cause they realise how expensive it is to repair them.

Yes, and they are also driven much harder - so it nullifies your point.
never... opel never again...
I'm very happy with my 2001 Astra which has 180,000km on now and my 2010 Corsa that has 5,400km on now. Yesterday I chatted with a relative from Bredasdorp that drives a 2005 Corsa C sedan, the one with the 1.7 diesel engine. It has 136,000km on now which equals to about 27,000 km per year. No breakdowns or any troubles.

But hey, its your choice. There is a guy on here called Alfoholic, he bought a Golf 5 GTi recently and he is heavy into modding - perhaps do the same as he did and catch some tips from him. I am sure VWSA will be much nicer in the unlikely event that you run into mechanical problems with your modified Golf GTi.

It doesn't - there's no reason why I well looked after performance car will be worse than any other second had car - they're designed to be driven hard, else they wouldn't be performance cars.

no more turbos no more electric this electric that.. all to me just another way for a car to brake.. rather build a proper turbo car...
i'm not saying Opels are bad car.. many people i've spoken to dont have issues with them.. but the guys that do have issues with their cars and not only turbos cars.. new 2010 opel corsa have been having issues.. the older cars are still the best to have and keep...
