I have been trying to do a hard reset of my Galaxy Note Note 2 phone as it had issues. Tried Volume Up key and Home Key and power button but it kept starting up. The Android logo would have shown that I am in recovery mode so that I can choose the rest option. After many attempts, I went to Android device manager on the web, located my phone and chose to erase. According to the instructions, Google send a a wipe/erase command to the phone registered under the account. My account, my phone. Now all it did was restart and stuck on the Samsung logo. Could I have bricked my phone? It does show the Vodafone logo when I switch it on as I bought as a Vodocom handset in Dion Wired some time back.

I'm sure you can still boot into Recovery even though you wiped... Unless you also wiped that partition...

Ok sorted. Needed patience!!!!!! Got to recovery screen and sorted. At least I will use the Google service to wipe my phone than the key setup.

Thanks for the quick reply! :D
