When sending a video via Whatsapp the video comes out as just a whole bunch of lines but when you watch the video on the phone it's fine.

Never had that problem with my gobii, but I remember that all to well with ALL my blackberies

Problem is they're in another part of the country so easier said than done :(
Will need to backup photos, contacts (Google should do this fine though), sms's, whatsapps, apps, videos, etc before doing the reset.

Tell her to download teamviewer then connect the phone to pc and then you take it from there.

Good idea, she already has teamviewer... How do I backup apps, sms's, & whatsapps over teamviewer though?
 
You go into her phones files and back it up.

Apps are connected to her google account same with contacts and smse on the sim card.


Whatsapp had a folder on the phone you just back up.

Bit of a revive here, but has anyone had build quality issues with their phone?

The back cover on my fathers one cracked, and the power button dropped out :/ Not sure if I should go through all the admin of getting Kalahari to pick it up for repair or not.

They don't seem like very sturdy phones - I mean I've dropped a few of my own phones and never had any trouble like that before.
 
Only my back cover is cracked but to.it's defence it fell 3m
 
everybody still happy with this phone? looking for a decent dual sim phone.

Still happy. No complaints. About a million less complaints than the Zest T1 (sorry, just had to)...
 
My top left corner of the phone's glass is loose. And there seems to be some dust that got in between the screen and the glass. Do you think Kalahari will accept return for this?

Just be prepared to wait if you submit it for return. I did the whole submission process almost 2 weeks ago. Their ETA to pick up my dads phone was and still is the 16th of March :P

Waited a month, had to phone them. Now I await feedback. Will have to phone them again. Sux.
