I have been getting quotes for having a unichip q installed on my car to improve efficiency as so far, the best quote I have got is from Goch and Cooper.

Does this company provide a satisfactory and reliable service? Any reviews would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Which car are you wanting to do this on?

If it's a post 2000 model you should be able to rather get software loaded onto the ECU. It's much better than piggybacking off a chip.

Check out tuning houses like - Revo, CPI, Unitronic etc. Depending on what car you have of course

Its a 1999 Opel Kadett 200ise.

The power difference looks pretty good with the unichip. I would like to get the mapping done at Goch and Cooper (mainly because of the price) so I would like to find out if they have a good service history record.

Ah then your going to need the chip. I've never heard of Goch an Cooper, so I can't help there. Sorry

G&C is in Cape Town.

They used to do my S2000 - no complaints.

Also try Top End (new, check on facebook) - not sure if they do Unichip. (I believe they use the tuner that used to be at G&C

Thanks, sent an email off to Top End.

I would prefer to have it done by Goch and Cooper seeing as they are a dastek unichip dealer.

The other quotes I have received are from Dynotech and Steve's Auto Clinic. Out of the 3 companies, which one would you recommend as giving the best service and being able to get the best engine performance figures?

Not sure on Opel... think its highly dependant on the tuner rather than the place.
