Cardless is not cashless.Haven’t used an ATM in probably 5 maybe even 10 years.
Draw money with groceries at the till once every three months or so just because my domestic lady sometimes wants a bit of cash for transport otherwise it’s all EFT.
Otherwise everything is cardless.

I thought most fees were paid via eft and not cash.Even my kid’s primary school is basically cashless. Thank goodness.
So from you thenSame here, wife is the only one who ever has cash, but even she doesn't get it from the ATM. It comes from other wives buying our clutter on fb marketplace.
Not in this thread, these people don't believe that. Don't say that here. Wrong crowdCash is king. Freedom is king!
Yup, was mostly talking about the kids carrying cash for civvie day, paying for photos, tuck shop, etc.I thought most fees were paid via eft and not cash.
Why are kids even being allowed to pay for stuff themselves. They should just put everything on the parents account/statement.Yup, was mostly talking about the kids carrying cash for civvie day, paying for photos, tuck shop, etc.
Please don't give beggars anything, You are not the ANC, if someone wants something then they need to stop being a bum and get up to do real work.I usually have a couple of Rands in my wallet, but that's only for the car wash and the odd beggar, petrol attendant, pamphlet dispenser.
Why are kids being taught the value of money? Why are kids even being allowed to pay for stuff themselves. They should just put everything on the parents account/statement.
I just looked through my records and realised that I last withdrew cash at an ATM on 31 Oct 2021.
I seem to have gone cashless without realising it.
If it were not for my wife, carguards and the like would starve. Even the parking attendants in Stellenbosch take card payments and vendors who don't have card machines will take SnapScan or equivalent. My occasional garden engineer is paid via EFT.
Does anyone else still handle cash?
Kids can be taught the value of money at home. School is not there to do the parents job.Why are kids being taught the value of money?![]()

Parents send kids to schools to learn, even about money, because most parents make lousy teachers.Kids can be taught the value of money at home. School is not there to do the parents job.
