hello all......was not even funny this. thought it was going to be 10 mins, turned out was in for an hour and i was cut, didn't have lapscope surgery, there was more wrong. typing with 1 hand will update when i'm feeling human again. tendons torn, was fixed.

I'm just glad you are alive!

Good news. Even if I ended up in an iron lung one day I'll still be able to hang out here. :)

You obviously have no idea how well & quickly many males learned to type with one hand & the other under the desk.
A case of "necessity is the mother of invention" :D

make no bones about something
to say clearly what you think or feel although you may embarrass or offend someone
Hmmm, now that is a perfect description of you :p. Is this going to change now that you're one bone less? :D

Glad you came through your surgery well. Hope you feel better soon :)

thanks everybody for your kind words. means a lot to me. there were 4 things done, capsular, bicep, antro-something, and whatever else.

i was so spaced out from the anesthetic lol, i had surgery in the morning. i was trying to eat supper and i kept falling asleep and would wake up and there would be food in my mouth. i gave up trying to eat. my friend phoned me about 6.30pm and i kept falling asleep on the phone hahaha.

My wife had the same operation about two years ago and I can really sympathise with you. Be strong and do what the physio tells you to do. I can assure you this is the key to full rehabilitation.
