Just got back from the American Consulate and will be getting our visa's in the next 2 days or so. they hardly ask any questions at all but they make you panic by telling you to get all your documentation together and then dont ask for any of it.

You must not be shopping in the right places then. My 501s are about half the price there and my folks regularly send over stuff for the kids that are exceptionally well priced.

My sister and mother are there at the moment for an extended shopping holiday. Been in NY, California and Florida. Still going to be there for another 4 weeks the lucky <expletive>s... I am rather jealous.
