. i wanna look for gadgets for sure....
i was also gonna look at cellphones and watches but even that i am not sure about. .

If you're going to do that, make sure it's not in NYC... take a trip over the river to the strip malls in Jersey and save on the tax. Easy trip by ferry / train / taxi

You can take the Path to the mall in Jersey City which used to be pretty decent.

Otherwise, if you're looking for clothes and you have a car drive up to Woodbury Commons in NY but LEAVE THE MISSUS BEHIND OR FACE FINANCIAL RUIN!!! :D

Ah - NYC in the summer - welcome to hell. :D

Yeah tell me about it... That's why I like to spend the better part of the Northern Hemisphere's summer down in good 'ol South Africa. Great weather! ;)

Thank you god for air-conditioning! :D

not much to do if you're after a party, but it's very relaxing. You'll find things to do, don't you worry. Be sure to head up to Boca as well while you're down there.

I really enjoyed the Cape Canaveral Kennedy Space Centre when I visited that area.

My sister and mother are there at the moment for an extended shopping holiday. Been in NY, California and Florida. Still going to be there for another 4 weeks the lucky <expletive>s... I am rather jealous.

Got space for one more? I would also like to visit your daughter...

hey hey slowly now! :D

Be careful not to step on anyone's toes/shoelaces or to bump into anyone or touch anyone there. Also be careful of whats on your laptop/cellphone.

Definitely St Augustine. It is one of the oldest cities in the US with great Spanish colonial buildings. I discovered it when we were exploring from Orlando. Loved it.

From Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Augustine,_Florida

"St. Augustine is the oldest continuously settled city established by Europeans in the continental United States. It was founded by the Spanish under Admiral Pedro Menéndez de Avilés in 1565."
