You can take the Path to the mall in Jersey City which used to be pretty decent.

Otherwise, if you're looking for clothes and you have a car drive up to Woodbury Commons in NY but LEAVE THE MISSUS BEHIND OR FACE FINANCIAL RUIN!!!

not much to do if you're after a party, but it's very relaxing. You'll find things to do, don't you worry. Be sure to head up to Boca as well while you're down there.

Definitely St Augustine. It is one of the oldest cities in the US with great Spanish colonial buildings. I discovered it when we were exploring from Orlando. Loved it.
