Hey guys

Reason for this is I want to make a guild that will be playing and progressing through ALL content. Classic then TBC and then WoTLK. I rerolled an Alliance char on Lightbringer and will be doing it from there.

Wanted to know if anyone else would be interrested in playing in a Progression guild which will be raiding all game content all the way to the end. I myself started late and TBC was out already. I missed all the level 60 raids and endgame content. The idea might sound stupid but what better way than to play all content starting from scratch ?

My Pala is only level 20 and will prob be stuck there for this festive season. So pls if you want to enjoy all the instances/Raids in WoW from start to finish then lets get it going :) You will have enough time to roll a new fresh toon on Lightbringer for this purpose. I know Jase will be joining me on that server, and I'm sure he would also like to surf through all the content. This is not a "Let's get to 80 quickly guild" But it is a "Lets get to 60 Quickly guild" :D

And I only want people there who will be online to raids all Raids from Classic to WoTLK. I know people like Jase will not be able to play 1 out of 2 months and we will work around that. We all have mains to play around with.

So pls I would like Fellow SA players and we will need atleast 40 people :D

mm interesting idea Pitbull.

I have never attempted WoW as yet, I have been sorely tempted, but have not bothered trying.

How often and at what times does the raiding bit work ?

You need 40 people online to raid. With this being more of a Progession guild at our own speed. I I have no problem only raiding once a week if everyone can make a set day. I prefer doing raids over weekends. Lets say on a Sunday or a Saturday. Then one can have a go at it the whole day. Once we hit 60 and all the end game content will force up levels also I guess by the time we're done doing Classic we should already be 70 or close. Then hit outlands and once we hit 70 and do all those endgame raids we should be close to 80 when done.

Makes for much more fun leveling :D

But we'll have to decide on raid times and what not once the guild if formed that way we can get a set day/days/ and time to do so.

And on that note.

I have had a massive problem getting groups together just for Deadmines. And it's not a lack of players on the server either. There are billions of them in my level range. To those who don't know. DM is the first instance on Alliance side. This instance is a level 18 instance. So it would be great to get guys to roll early enough so we can start right at the bottom which is DM :) I can tank as my Pala is protection spec. So you guys can feel free to level what ever you want :)

I think it's an idea... mmm......... what would the guild by called?

No idea :p

I think this is a nice way to get all the new people who always wanted to start WoW but feel they are 2 expansions behind to come and play with me. Even if you have never played WoW before. Go out get the Classic box and lets kill WoW from start to finish :)

Yes there is no better opertunaty than now to get a char going from scratch even if you have never played before and Level with us. These people rerolling now will see things not allot of WoW players have seen before. Myself included, I missed allot. This time round I won't miss a single thing :)

I think that is what has held back quite a number of folks wanting to start

But yeah, me certain I could even get another bud to join up as well, if we do decide to undetake this adventure.

All up to you, no pressure :)

The Classic box set is only R 120 and that is all you will need till we have cleared all the level 60 raids. That will keep you busy for a very long time. But there is a subscrition with it obviously :o

hmm...I like the idea :) Sadly I'm a hordie :p And on Dentarg...and too lazy to reroll :p

Well I decided, but the problem is I would probably not be able to play in the next few days. I'll level my druid up to 20 tonight quick.

Guild's name can be

WoW for Dummies or
mybroadband n00bs

or something :p

I'll be joining when I get back home. I was just chatting to some guys about 3G out here. A tad expensive ($300 upfront and $50 /month) but am looking into it.

I am going to try the only class I have never rolled.... a Pala (Prolly Dorf).

Not really, Missus going a bit psycho on me about the addiction, just now she gonna smash me lachesis and G15, she threatened to switch all the power off at the mains.

How long does it take to level in terms of questing and farming and the like, I am unfamiliar with it, so I need to see how much time it would require.

I have been playing Horde for 2 years. The change I like tbh. My horde is now having a very long break ;)

But it's your choice.

I will also not be on much during this time as it's festive and what not. But in January I can give this my all. Gives whoever wants to join a few weeks to get to level 20 :)

I know the game and I leveled from 1 - 20 in about 13 hours played. If you takeit easy and don't know the quests 1 - 20 should take you about 1-2 days played aka 24-48 hours. Only the learning curve is slightly high as you begin to play. But there is addons that can help ease the learning curve :)

Here is the plan. Tell her she is soooo right, you have been playing WoW waaay to much.

Get off that PC, call up your mates and go out a couple of times, get home around say between 3am - 5am a few times and wait till she threatens you again.

Then go for the whole 'I feel so restricted approach' ...

Or to keep things simple, get off that PC, grab that remote and channel hop!

Probs, me stuck in front of me PC most of the time.

I just need to ration my time, plan better to share time in the evenings.

That's why I am checking to see how many hours a night it would require and will I be required to play that often to be able to keep up with the guild is all.

mm, I recall how bad GW was in terms of me playing non-stop - I fear this can becomejust as bad.
