Going to give Guild Master a try

oooh do tell please.

There is addons that help you with the quests, this way you don't get lost.
That is the biggest problem when starting out. The maps on WoW is massive, and getting lost is a problem :o

Addon I use for that is "QuestHelper". But seeing as you would prob only level solo or with your friend till level 20. Maybe take the hard aproach and struggle a bit :p From level 20 we should all be in the same areas more or less and we can do quests and what not together.

Probs, me stuck in front of me PC most of the time.

I just need to ration my time, plan better to share time in the evenings.

That's why I am checking to see how many hours a night it would require and will I be required to play that often to be able to keep up with the guild is all.

mm, I recall how bad GW was in terms of me playing non-stop - I fear this can becomejust as bad.

I'm not going to say that it will not. WoW is very addictive no need for me to say it isn't. But it's all about how you manage it. Raiding can be planned to make sure everyone gets plenty of off time. Most guild only raid once or twice a week anyway. But the part that is time consuming is questing, training proffessions, Fishing, Cooking and what not. The proffs are not a must have but a good to have as it pays the bills :)

how is it going to work though? I level pretty fast, could probably do 1-60 in a week or so. or is it, login once every week to do raids

Not really.

Remember my aim is to do all raids. We'll see who can raid when. Most raids reset once a week meaning you can only clear them once a week anyway. Then we can go do PvP inbetween, working on profesions and what not in the mean time. I also have other toons and I can roll another Alliance toon just for the off days but my main aim is to push my Pala through all the content with people that have the same goals in mind. If you want then just create another toon for you to play in the off days, or play your other druid on the off days.

I don't know :p

So essentially the goal is lvl 60 to start?

Yea kinda.

Along the way we just make sure we do every Dungeon and achievement we can. Makes it alot easier if you have allot of guys in the same level bracket.

But the raids will be at 60 yea. I know you will be a few days late when you start, but you know your way around you will catch up very quickly. Even more so if you bring your son along :)

Would be nice to have you there :)

Also Lightbringer is a PvE server, this is a new experience to me. And it will also make sure that no one gets arse raped which I think could make me love STV for a change :D

Have mates who have a guild on LB, been threatening I will roll a gnomish dk an annoy them when the patch comes out :P

Come to think of it I think i have a lvl6 priest on lb

On a PvE realm you can have chars on both factions. But I will only play Alliance for now. Horde is kinda dead to me after 2 years of doing nothing but Horde :o

Ok, sounds like a plan. I haven't been through ANY of the content except a couple of instances that wasn't really a fight, just sit back and wait for the 60's to kill everything and I looted. But that only happened like 2 times. Never did DM either

1 of my favourite dungeons :)

Maybe because I've only done it a few times :D That and Gnomeregan

Yea kinda.

Not sure if he will play. He eventually hit 80 the other day and is itching to get raiding. But will work on him a bit and see if he is keen to roll. If he does, then Klipkop (aka Shicken) will most likely roll a toon as well (will suit him as he levels a lot slower than us).

I'll catch up pretty quick so no need to worry about me.

I think for anyone who really wants to try WoW, this will be a great start. Pitbull has a ton of patience towards anyone new and doesn't mind showing ppl the ropes (wipes in dungeons included).

Only because I cause them 90% of the time :D

But pls guys I'm more than keen to help anyone willing to start as new players. Take this as a running start into the great world of WoW :)

I remember you and I running DM once. We snuck up to that ally and dropped invis. He got such a fright that he ran into mobs and got himself killed. I couldn't stop laughing.

ROFLMAO !!!!

I only remember that now :D

Okay, so in-game names would be nice. Guild charter? Tell me where to sign on the dotted line...

My IGN is Krygkor.

Till we come up with a nice name that stands for what we aim to do then I can have it created and get it signed. Feel free to make suggestions :o.
