im riding with Yokohama S-Drives 235/35's , and they are brilliant tires. Bumps are extremely soft even with the 30mm drop, but then again, im riding with FSD's too.

the thing is, bridgestone design their tyres to be eaten away by the tarmac - it's for performance reasons.

Pirelli last longer?????? WOW thats a first - everyone so far has said to me they are way to soft... but ok... In any case, which Pirelli do you have?

I used Pirelli P-Zero Nero when i had my VR6, very very good tire but life span i cant comment.

Went to get pricing.... they dont have stock, but they have a similar tread to GY F1 and Dunlop SP9000.... How Bad are they with noise? (You ran T1R right?)

Lol the Injins trying to sell you Dunlops, I would have swore them if I were you, never ever use Dunflops!!

hehehe, they did give me a price on 6060's I am guessing you had a bad experience with Dunlop?? Lets hear it....

really, he is right, Dunlop are bad tires. I know guys who had brand new tires fitted and had tire bursts.

Is that ur GTI? Nice car that!

Do you have a lip in the front or is that stock with colour coding? I am looking at colour coding my stock front lip and stock side skirts... but in two minds about it....
 
His looks much better than that. In fact I think its one of the hottest GTI's I've seen.

I have a colour coded Vortex lip on mine.

Thats looks sweet.... Have u done the sideskirts as well? I have the rear colourcoded except the "diffuser part" and now thinking of doing the sides and front. Got some pics for reference?

I wanted to do the skirts and the rear, but the panelbeater advised me that it will start to peel after a while due to the rough surface. Is yours peeling?
I am thinking about fitting the R32 rear and then colour coding the skirts.

No, mine is fine.. no problems on it. There is an awesome diffuser from autostyle for the rear fro R4500 i think http://www.autostyle.co.za/prodview...=vw&cid=Golf Mk5&pg=1&showall=&brandstr=&str=

I have seen a couple of red GTI with colour coding and they seem fine. the panel beater gives a warranty as well.

The rims look good, but I dont know if the deep dish would suit the GTI.
Also those rims are 100 PCD. The GTI V is 5 X 112.

good points.... didnt notice in the pic it was deep dish... but the pcd they say these r for Golf 5... oh well, not what im looking for, will keep looking around
